Chief Growth Officer (CGO)
Eric is a Co-Founder of SBCC and its’ subsidiary, XSTAR Aviation. SBCC is a DoD contractor specializing in innovative technology discovery, contracting, and project management. As Chief Growth Officer, he grew SBCC from 15 to 120 employees and $2M to $30M in revenue in four short years. SBCC works with startups on behalf of the USAF to accelerate their solutions from prototyping through fielding. In the past 4 years, SBCC has enabled over $400M+ in contracts awarded to small businesses. SBCC is government funded and as such does not require compensation from their startup portfolio companies. As the dual-hatted CGO for XSTAR Aviation, Eric secured a prime contract with the USAF to provide additional aviation training options for military aircrews.
Eric is a USAF retired Brig Gen, serving 28-years in aviation logistics. He commanded at multiple levels including Wing Commander, Kirtland AFB, NM, and led combat deployments in support of air operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Balkans. As an USAF senior leader, Eric managed daily operations at the USAF’s Sustainment Center which includes three aviation depots. He served as Air Force Global Strike Command Director of Logistics & Engineering for his final posting before his retirement in 2021.
