Who we are
MISSION
Enhance aircrew readiness through innovative, mission-focused training solutions, ensuring operational success across a wide range of aircraft platforms and missions.
By incorporating state-of-the-art technology with tailored training solutions, we ensure aircrew are prepared for the demands of the current national security environment, equipping them with the tools and expertise they need to excel.
Why we exist
XSTAR Aviation was born out of a groundbreaking initiative to tackle critical challenges in aircrew readiness. Rooted in the findings of the Bomber Supplemental Trainer for Aircrew Readiness (BSTAR) study, our company was created to develop innovative, scalable solutions that address the evolving demands of modern operational environments.
The BSTAR study, conducted under the leadership of Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), highlighted significant gaps in traditional aircrew training methods. While effective in their time, these methods struggled to keep pace with today’s complex operational challenges. The study not only shaped the development of the BSTAR program but also revealed an opportunity to create something greater—an organization dedicated to advancing aircrew readiness across aviation communities.
Recognizing this opportunity, our founding team launched XSTAR Aviation as a subsidiary of Small Business Consulting Corporation (SBCC). Designed to manage Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated (COCO) aircraft and deliver turnkey training solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD), XSTAR combines flexibility, innovation, and collaboration to revolutionize aircrew training.

Our vision
To be the leader in advanced aircrew readiness solutions, uniting legacy with innovation to support the defense community and national defense.
